5 of 5 Did the job! February 7, 2021
Reviewer: Scott from Edmond, OK
I have a Dalite 10M projector lift that had a burned out motor which Dalite no longer services and that I was told by Dalite the motor company no longer makes.  To my pleasant surprise, when I pulled the unit, I found it was made by SOMFY.  An internet search pulled up Floridaautomatedshade.com.  Typed in the model number of the failed motor and voila!  Came within 4 days.  Now for the warranty voiding part of the story...

Unfortunately it was about an inch longer than the SOMFY motor that came out of my unit.  So, a buddy of mine and I pulled the original motor and cut the new motor to the appropriate length, carefully matching the notches.  This involved removing drop mechanism out of the new motor and ditching the plastic wiring harness as well as bending tabs to get the drop mechanism to fit back in the shortened tube, but it did!   BARELY!!!.  For 250 dollars, I was able to repair a $5k in ceiling motorized projector drop!  Thank you Floridaautomatedshade.com!!!
