With the Eolis 3D WireFree RTS sensor, Somfy has launched the first wireless, intuitive, battery powered wind sensor. Somfy has developed an exclusive, patented technology to protect awnings against the wind: the sensor not only detects horizontal and vertical movements of the awning, but also lateral ones. As soon as the preset threshold is exceeded, the sensor automatically retracts the awning. Replaced defective wind sensor and worked great.  Be sure to view the Somfy YT videos on how to program.  Fast shipping and great customer service.  We will definitely be back for future Somfy products.  Beats dealing with wholesale/warehouse merchants on Amazon that aren't fluent in Somfy.

My 13 year old wind sensor fatigued and no longer worked. Found Florida Automated Shade via a web search - I live on Staten Island, NY. I placed my order for a white unit over the phone. When the item arrived it was black. I called Florida Automated Shade who confirmed my order was for a white unit. They sent me a return label for the black unit and overnighted a white unit. Thank You! You get my vote and my return business.
