5 of 5 Easy diy install. October 8, 2021

We just moved in to a resale home.  There are two motorized window shades in the dining room and study.  Just my luck the sealed batteries went dead in our 6th month.  Found the only supplier that makes these battery packs and ordered them.  They arrived in about 10 days.  The diy install was quite easy.  There are dual tubes for each window that plug end to end with small plugs.  Simply remove the old tubes and snap in the new ones.  Remote control worked great.  Love the shades.

I had some SOMA shades in a house I bought.  It was really hard to figure out how they were controlled.  The SOMA website and support line was useless.  All they do is refer you to a representative you have to find on your own and hope they answer.  I was thrilled to find Florida Automated Shades.  They are knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed.  I made the mistake of only looking at one shade to see what charger I needed.  Turns out the other two blinds had a different connection type.  I called Florida and the representative instantly gave me the charger I needed to order.  I highly recommend Florida Automated.
