We have some outdoor shades to keep our home from heating up by at least 10* from a late afternoon hot sun. Yes, you do notice the 10* difference immediately after lowering the shades. With the temps already getting to 90* plus, we were desperate when the shades quit lowering. My wife engaged our consultant ChatGPT to analyze the situation. It concluded it was just that the shade motor had gone out. Got on the website for Florida Automated Shade on Thursday afternoon and ordered the proper replacement. The previous motor was underpowered for the size and weight of the dual shades it was powering. The replacement was delivered in two days, yes, 2 days. Rather than ship from Florida to California they found one in Irvine without any prompting. Installed the next day. Motor is twice the speed since it isn't under-powered. Love it when a plan comes together. Thanks, FAS, for going above and beyond.
